Su un'isola dei Caraibi alcuni scienziati, tra cui il Dr. Geoffrey
(Luciano Pigozzi), e capitanati dal colonnello Kovacks (Charles Napier), effettuano dei pericolosi esperimenti. Le
scorie 

radioattive prodotte da questi esperimenti vengono gettate nel fondo di un vulcano. La giornalista
Jane (Marina Giulia Cavalli), aiutata dal fotografo Lee (Robert Marius), si reca 

sull'isola per trovare le
prove di questa losca attività e per evitare la devastazione ambientale che può derivarne. Durante le loro
ricerche però verranno scoperti: mentre Lee viene 

catturato, Jane riesce a scappare e a recarsi nella
giungla dove incontra Bob (Daniel Bosch), un erpetologo che da molti anni vive sull'isola; insieme cercheranno di
liberare Lee. Nel 

frattempo una strana creatura aliena, attratta dalle radiazioni, scende nel
vulcano.............

Well, this alien dwarfs the original alien in physical size only. Although the film takes place on a tropic island, a
few 

similarities to `Alien' are obvious, down to the fact that the heroine has to stand the last fight with
the creature wearing nothing but her white underwear. No, I don't complain about that 

 Anyway, the huge
creature which can move under the ground is quite scary (but only until it stands up and suddenly looks like a cross
between a senile robot and a lunatic crab)
